Week 1 Blog - My response to AI like ChatGPT

Wow. A singular word was all that I could manage after my first interaction with ChatGPT. The speed at which it was able to create such an in depth blogpost regarding the circumstances of its own creation was astounding.

After creating that blogpost, I set out on reading anything and everything I could find on ChatGPT. My first stop was at an article from Harvard Business Review, titled ChatGPT Is a Tipping Point for AI by Ethan Mollick. After reading this article, I was even more intrigued by ChatGPT and its capabilities. Who could have thought, that a simple chatbot could develop into something so advanced and easy to use. Certainly not me. Now, I am at a loss of words for how wonderful systems like ChatGPT can be for the future of the world. I hope to see many applications of AI like ChatGPT to help advance human society even further.

As AI gains more and more depth in both its systems and knowledgebase, it is beginning to become more and more clear that the information being processed by these systems contains sensitive information. If this information were to be obtained through AI and used for malicious purposes, it could spell disaster amongst the general public.
